Hear all… this one's on Heer. Nah, Deepika Padukone won't be biting the casting bait of Heer And Ranjha. And Nargis Fakhri, won't be illumining the screen alongside Shahid Kapoor in the Sajid Nadiadwala venture either. Rather, the flick helmed by Sabir Khan has hit a rocky note and has gone back to the storyboard stage.

Reportedly, the contemporary take on Romeo and Juliet set in New York and crafted on an approximate budget of Rs. 55 crore has met with opposition from producer Sajid Nadiadwala. As per insiders, the canny producer had a massive showdown with director Khan citing displeasure over the script.

Nadiadwala, however, is loathe to admit it to the scribe tribe at large, denying any "showdown" with his director and Sabir shies away from commenting citing a "family emergency," insiders squeal that even as the search for the new heroine is on, the flick has gone back to the scripting stage.

Nadiadwala, though, is candid enough to admit in a media quote that "the second half of the script was not working and I've asked Sabir to work on the script and deliver by April 30. I can take this liberty with Sabir."
