Acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner, known for directing beloved films such as When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men, Stand by Me, and The Princess Bride, was found dead alongside his wife Michele Singer Reiner in their Brentwood, Los Angeles home on Sunday, December 14, 2025, police confirmed, as per a report in TMZ.
Emergency responders were called to the residence in the affluent neighborhood around 3:30 p.m., where the Los Angeles Fire Department discovered the couple’s bodies. Law enforcement officials have described the deaths as part of an “apparent homicide” investigation, with both victims showing signs consistent with stab wounds, according to early reports.
