Dhurandhar Record Breaking Second Sunday:

Dhurandhar has officially entered the history books, delivering the biggest second Sunday ever for a Hindi film and redefining post-pandemic box office benchmarks. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film collected a staggering ₹56 crore on its second Sunday, surpassing the previous record held by Pushpa 2: The Rule (₹48.5 crore in Hindi). With this, Dhurandhar also became the first Hindi film to cross both the ₹50 crore and ₹55 crore marks on a second Sunday, a feat never achieved before.

The latest numbers place Dhurandhar firmly at the top of the list of highest second Sunday collections in Hindi cinema. While Baahubali 2 had earlier set the tone with ₹33.5 crore, it was beaten by Gadar 2 (₹39 crore), followed by Stree 2 (₹41.5 crore) and then Pushpa 2 (₹48.5 crore), Aditya Dhar’s directorial has leapt ahead by a massive margin.

What makes the achievement even more remarkable is the film’s second weekend total of ₹136 crore, the highest ever recorded. This comfortably beats the earlier all-time second weekend record of Pushpa 2, which stood at ₹114 crore. The jump highlights not just strong opening momentum but extraordinary word-of-mouth and repeat audience turnout.
