Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon and distributor Anil Thadani's daughter, Rasha Thadani, debuted in Bollywood this year with Azaad (2025). Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film turned out to be a box office disaster. Despite the debacle, Rasha has secured a new project in Bollywood.

Rasha Thadani has grabbed the lead role in Kartik Aaryan's upcoming sequel, Pati Patni Aur Woh 2. She has replaced the Kissik girl from Pushpa 2: The Rule, Sreeleela, in this romantic comedy-drama, says a report in Mid-day. The reason for this change is said to be the notion of a fresh pairing, as Kartik and Sreeleela are already working on a different project together; Rasha would create a fresh duo with Mr. Aaryan.

“Sreeleela and Kartik are already collaborating in Anurag’s film. The team of Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 believes a new jodi will attract attention. The final decision rests with Mudassar. He will make a call after conducting look tests,” a source told the portal.

Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 will be a sequel to Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019), which was a remake of the 1978 film of the same title. PPAW starred Kartik Aaryan alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film performed well at the box office.
