Randeep Hooda-Nandana Sen Starrer 'Rang Rasiya' To Finally Release This Year

Randeep Hooda's long-in-the-cans film Rang Rasiya, directed and produced by Ketan Mehta, is likely to release soon.

The 2008 film, based on the life of the 19th century Indian painter Raja Ravi Varma, also stars Nandana Sen. Although the movie has been completed long ago and has also been screened at some film festivals, it hadn't found any distributors for release.

Two years ago, there was news that a distributor had been found but there has been no progress ever since. Apparently, there were some issues owing to the sensuous scenes between Randeep and Nandana.

Sources claim that since Randeep's last few releases such as Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Jannat 2 and Jism 2 have earned him rave reviews, the makers have decided to give Rang Rasiya another shot and release it.

Ketan Mehta was quoted saying that the film has been stuck but everything has been sorted and the film will release soon.

Randeep Hooda will next be seen in Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine, starring Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal.
