Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi's Ramayana is creating a lot of buzz on the internet. Fans have been waiting for the first official poster or glimpse for months now, but nothing has been unveiled by the makers. Recently, there were reports on social media indicating that the team would launch the first glimpse of Ramayana at WAVES 2025 since both Ranbir Kapoor and producer Namit Malhotra are attending this massive summit in Mumbai. However, it didn't happen as expected.

I had the opportunity to meet producer Namit Malhotra at the WAVES 2025 summit and asked him about the situation. When inquired if they were releasing the first glimpse today, as rumored, he stated that they have postponed it. In a brief conversation with Movie Talkies, Mr. Malhotra confirmed that the launch of Ramayana's first teaser has been delayed due to the Pahalgam attacks.

Namit told us, "Yeah, we have been planning to launch the Ramayana campaign at Waves 2025 but had to postpone due to the Pahalgam attacks. We will launch it soon and will figure out new dates. Most probably, we are looking to release the small teaser this year."

Ramayana Part One is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role of Lord Rama. Yash plays the villain, Raavana; Sai Pallavi portrays Maa Sita; and Sunny Deol will be seen in the role of Lord Hanuman. Ramayana Part One is set to be released on Diwali 2026, followed by Ramayana Part Two on Diwali 2027. Hopefully, we will get to see the first glimpse very soon.
