National Award-winning actor Parvathy Thiruvothu is set to headline filmmaker Don Palathara’s next project, which also features Dileesh Pothan in a key role. The film brings together three of Malayalam cinema’s most distinctive creative voices for the first time.

This marks Parvathy’s maiden collaboration with Don Palathara and Dileesh Pothan. Known for his quiet, introspective storytelling and exploration of human relationships, Palathara’s style is expected to blend well with Parvathy’s naturalistic performances. Dileesh Pothan, celebrated both as a director and actor, will appear alongside her, adding further weight to the ensemble.

Speaking about the collaboration, Parvathy said, “Don Palathara’s films reflect how we live and love, often without judgment or noise. To step into that kind of world as an actor is liberating. His cinema asks you to unlearn performance and simply be, which is both challenging and deeply rewarding. Working with him has been on my wishlist for a while, and sharing the screen with Dileesh, whose creative sensitivity I’ve long admired, feels like an opportunity to learn again.”

The announcement follows a busy phase for Parvathy, who recently took on the lead in Storm, Hrithik Roshan’s debut production, and reunited with Bejoy Nambiarr after over a decade since Maryan.

With Palathara’s distinctive storytelling, Pothan’s presence, and Parvathy’s emotional depth, the film promises an engaging new chapter in Malayalam cinema’s evolving narrative landscape.
