Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-anticipated film Love and War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, has been postponed once again. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the film has now been pushed to 2027, extending the wait for audiences eager to see the powerful trio come together on screen.

Love and War was initially planned as a grand cinematic release and marked Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s return to direction after Gangubai Kathiawadi. The film also generated strong buzz as it reunites Bhansali with Ranbir Kapoor after Saawariya and Alia Bhatt after their successful collaboration, Gangubai Kathiawadi, while bringing Vicky Kaushal into Bhansali’s world for the first time.

As per the report, the delay is largely due to scheduling challenges and the massive scale of the project. With all three lead actors committed to multiple big films, aligning dates for prolonged shoots has reportedly become difficult. Additionally, Bhansali is known for his detailed filmmaking process, elaborate sets, and long production timelines, which have also contributed to the revised release plan.
