Karan Johar Opens Up on Rekindling Equation with Kartik Aaryan –

Karan Johar about his bond with Kartik Aaryan:

Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan were supposed to work together for Dostana 2, which didn't happen and led to a fued between them. Now, they have patched things up and are working together for multiple projects, starting with Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, filmmaker Karan Johar addressed his renewed professional relationship with actor Kartik Aaryan, putting past differences to rest. Karan acknowledged that the two had internal conversations to resolve misunderstanings.

"I think we internally discussed it, worked it out and let bygones be bygones. Kartik Aaryan is an immensely hardworking actor and a very connective big star today who has a wide audience space," he said.

The two recently announced a collaboration, surprising many who believed they had parted ways on a bitter note in the past. Karan praised Kartik’s storytelling sense, adding, "He has a great instinct on screenplay. He and I met, collaborated and decided to come together — it was all lovely."

Highlighting the collaborative nature of the film industry, Karan likened it to a close-knit family. "I have had, he’s had issues with each other, but it's a tiny industry, which I call a family. I believe that in a family, kabhi kabhi gile shikwe ho jaate hain," he reflected.

He concluded by stressing the importance of focusing on creativity. "We don’t sweat the small stuff — we have a larger vision to look at," he said.
