Kamaal Rashid Khan's Lawyer Blames Bollywood Celebs For Arrest:

Advocate Nagesh Mishra, who is representing actor and self-styled and controversial critic Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK), has strongly criticised the police action against his client, claiming that the case leading to KRK’s arrest is “completely fabricated” and influenced by pressure from prominent Bollywood personalities.

Speaking to the media, Mishra alleged that KRK has been falsely implicated and that the allegations made by the police do not hold up to scrutiny. According to him, the police claim that KRK fired a bullet from his licensed firearm, a charge he firmly denied. “The entire case is fabricated. Kamaal R Khan has been falsely implicated. The contention of the police is that he fired a bullet from his gun, but that is not correct,” Mishra stated.

The lawyer further claimed that “many big names in Bollywood” are allegedly instigating the police to take action against KRK. While he did not name any individuals, Mishra suggested that external influence has played a role in shaping the investigation. He added that the police are being misled and have failed to establish a clear connection between KRK and the alleged offence.

Mishra also addressed reports linking KRK to the complainant, Neeraj Mishra, at whose residence the incident reportedly took place. He categorically denied any association between the two, stating that KRK does not even know Neeraj Mishra. “There is no connection between the alleged offence and the accused,” he said.

The case has attracted some attention due to KRK’s controversial public image and frequent run-ins with the film industry. While the police have maintained that their action is based on evidence, KRK’s legal team insists that he is being targeted unfairly. Many are happy about it though, while some think that a fair trial is mandatory.
