Fateh Review Movie Talkies:

Fateh marks another high-octane action spectacle in Bollywood as Sonu Sood enters John Wick mode for the first time in his career. For his fans, it's a non-stop action treat, while others will experience a new action mania from him and may find it overwhelming.

Fateh

Fateh follows a similar path to James Bond movies but kicks off like a John Wick film. Recently, we saw a film like KILL going brutal with bloodshed, and Fateh is in the same vein, incorporating more universal elements like spy thriller, cybercrime, and patriotism to genuinely enhance the story.

Fateh

The film follows Fateh (Sonu Sood), a former dairy owner from Punjab, on a mission to confront one of his neighbors, Nimrat (Shiv Jyoti). She was a victim of a fake loan app, which caused many of her local residents to lose money and even commit suicide. Fateh travels to Delhi to uncover the cybercrime syndicate and meets a hacker named Khushi (Jacqueline Fernandez). He shares his past with Khushi, which everyone is eager to know (Sabko Jananna hai!), revealing that he was an ex-cop, a secret agent, and a killer. His mission is to find Nimrat, and to do so, he must track down the criminals and the leader of the syndicate responsible for this scam.

Fateh

Fateh is not only a very patriotic film but also socially significant. The message of cybersecurity and internet safety is loud and clear: every time you make a call, use the internet, pay online bills, engage on social media platforms, or click on links—everything is under scrutiny. They are watching you closely, along with everyone on your contact list. Fateh makes a valid point about the ultimate solution for reducing the cybercrime rate in the nation, and hopefully, it will reach as many people as possible.

EXCLUSIVE: "I am a huge fan of Akshay Kumar bhai; his sense of comedy & timing is outstanding" – Shreyas Talpade on Housefull 5 and Welcome 3

The screenplay and dialogue make Fateh a mass-friendly film. Although it is based on the cybercrime web, it remains an easy film to understand. The protagonist is high on swag and dialogue, always up to throw subtle punches at the villains, adding a touch of style. "Chay pee leni chahiye thi," "Goli kha leni chahiye thi," "Ramayana mein hamesha Raavan hi marta hai," "Farak hai.. Janajaa thode shaan se niklata"—all these one-liners are crafted for single-screen audiences, and they resonate well.

Fateh

Sonu Sood enters the action zone like never before in his career. This is his John Wick meets Kill meets Patriotism meets advanced technology kind of bouquet. His action scenes are top-notch, brutal, and at times, unbearable. The bloodbath here comes with substance, featuring some slow-motion shots and close frames, which set the film apart from typical Bollywood action movies. Jacqueline looks cute, and Shiv Jyoti performs well. Naseeruddin Shah and Vijay Raaz present decent villains, while Dibyendu Bhattacharya stands out as a corrupt police officer. Prakash Belawadi plays Fateh's boss and does well in a small role.

Fateh

Fateh lacks good music and a background score, which could have enhanced the project. A few hiccups in the plot are noticeable, but nothing serious. Vincenzo Condorelli's camerawork is impressive, and the action director has done an amazing job. Fateh is a well-edited film, if not perfectly polished. A more stylish finishing touch would have been appreciated.

Fateh

Sonu Sood, as the director, has done a commendable job in his debut and certainly better than many Bollywood directors who have attempted to bring Hollywood-style action movies to Hindi cinema. Fateh is his baby, and he gives it his all—be it as an actor, director, or producer. Go enjoy this classy and patriotic action mania in cinemas near you.
