The much-talked-about divorce of Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and social media influencer and dancer Dhanashree Verma is finally done and dusted. The two were spotted at the family court in Mumbai around noon to finalize the divorce. The court has approved their divorce, making Yuzvendra and Dhanashree OFFICIALLY DIVORCED!

Yuzvendra's lawyer, advocate Nitin Kumar Gupta, confirmed the news to the media after the hearing. "The court has granted the decree of divorce. The court has accepted the joint petition of both parties. The parties are no longer husband and wife," he stated while confirming the news of the divorce.

The court gave a special concession to cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his estranged wife, waiving the mandatory six-month cooling-off period, as Chahal is set to enter the Indian Premier League 2025 season this weekend. Chahal was reportedly paying an alimony of Rs. 60 crore, which turned out to be false.

The cricketer paid Rs. 4.75 crore in alimony to his wife to finalize the divorce. Chahal tied the knot with Dhanashree in December 2020, and both seemed very happy in their married life. Nobody knows what went wrong when they filed for divorce by mutual consent on February 5, 2025. It all comes to the end now as both are not husband and wife anymore.
