The divorce rumors about Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma are finally coming true, it seems. The Family Court is expected to deliver the final verdict on their divorce tomorrow, March 20, 2025, as per High Court orders.

Since the IPL 2025 season (Indian Premier League) is starting this weekend and Chahal will be busy with the matches, the High Court has instructed the Family Court to issue a decision on this matter tomorrow. Chahal has agreed to pay Rs. 4 crore 75 lakhs as permanent alimony. Earlier reports suggested that Chahal would pay Rs. 60 crore, which has now been proven untrue.

The cooling-off period of six months for mutual understanding has been waived by the court as per Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act. The cricketer has already paid Rs. 2 crore 37 lakhs from the total amount of alimony to his wife.

In a statement, Bar And Bench said, "As per the consent term, Chahal had agreed to pay a permanent alimony of Rs. 4 crore 75 lakhs to Verma, of which Rs. 2 crore 37 lakhs and 55 thousand has already been paid. The non-payment of the remaining amount was seen as non-compliance by the family court."
