Dharma Productions' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani re-released in cinemas last week and has proven to be a huge success in India as well as overseas. The new-age rom-com is a smash hit at the Indian box office and has also done wonders in foreign markets, especially the UK.

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's YJHD collected a fantastic total of Rs. 6.25 crore nett in its opening weekend. The film scored even bigger numbers on Monday than Friday, surprising everyone. It continued its strong run on weekdays and concluded the first week with a grand total of Rs. 12.15 crore nett. This is much better than many new movies.

YJHD also achieved fantastic numbers overseas. In the UK (United Kingdom) box office, this Ayan Mukerji blockbuster minted £55,000, which is simply outstanding. Believe it or not, these first-week numbers are higher than the lifetime numbers of all the new releases in the UK.

The film is set for another huge week in India as young viewers are going crazy for the film, its dialogues, dance numbers, music, and nostalgia. Needless to say, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani will give a tough fight to all the new releases and maintain a superb hold in the coming days.
