Will Smith Faces Sexual Harassment Lawsuit:

Hollywood star Will Smith has been sued in a major civil lawsuit filed by professional violinist Brian King Joseph, who alleges sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination related to events during Smith’s Based on a True Story 2025 global tour.

Joseph’s complaint was filed on December 30, 2025, in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, bringing fresh legal scrutiny to one of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Isn't that shocking?

According to the lawsuit, Joseph — who gained fame as a top-three finalist on America’s Got Talent — was invited to join Smith’s tour in late 2024. The complaint centers on an incident in March 2025 in Las Vegas, where Joseph claims he returned to his hotel room, booked by Smith’s management, only to find signs that someone had entered without consent. Among the items Joseph said were left in the room were a handwritten note with a suggestive message, personal belongings that were not his, a bottle of HIV medication with another name, and other unusual objects.

The handwritten note allegedly read, “Brian, I’ll be back no later … just us,” and was signed “Stone F” with a heart, which Joseph interpreted as a threat of sexual violence. After reporting the situation to hotel security, local authorities, and Smith’s tour representatives, Joseph claims he was accused of lying and was removed from the tour shortly afterward. He says another violinist was quickly hired to replace him.

Joseph’s lawsuit also claims that Smith engaged in a pattern of “grooming and priming” him for sexual exploitation, including making comments about a special personal connection, and that retaliatory actions violated California employment and civil-rights laws. He is now seeking compensatory, punitive, and other damages for emotional distress, PTSD, financial losses, and reputational harm.

Representatives for Will Smith and his management company have not yet issued a public response to the allegations. The court case will unfold in 2026 as both sides prepare legal arguments and evidence.
