The box office journey of Tu Yaa Main has taken a severe hit, with the horror thriller collecting just ₹24-25 lakhs on its second Friday. After scoring a poor ₹4.10 crore nett in its first week, the sharp drop in collections clearly indicates that the film has lost it big time.

Trade estimates suggest the film is now running on very few screens in its second week, and the downward trend confirms that the theatrical run is nearly over. At this pace, Tu Yaa Main is expected to wrap up its lifetime business in single-digit figures, making it one of the biggest disappointments in recent times. Even hitting 7 crore nett seems impossible here.

The film starred Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor and was primarily marketed toward youth audiences. However, the target demographic largely stayed away from cinemas, resulting in poor footfall from the opening weekend itself. The mixed reactions and poor appeal have affected the film's business.

For Shanaya Kapoor, this comes as a concerning development, marking her second consecutive box office disaster. The young Diva now needs a strong comeback project and a well-packaged film to regain momentum. 

Despite its horror-thriller positioning and youth-focused promotions, Tu Yaa Main failed to create pre-release buzz or positive word of mouth. Unless there is an unlikely turnaround, the film’s theatrical run is effectively over, sealing its fate as a major box office washout. It's a DISASTER!
