Tiger Shroff Rambo SHELVED INDEFINITELY:

Tiger Shroff’s much-talked-about Hindi version of Rambo has been shelved indefinitely, putting an end—at least for now—to recurring speculation about its revival. The film, which was officially announced several years ago, has remained stuck in limbo despite periodic rumours suggesting that the project was back on track.

Rambo was unveiled in 2020 as a big-ticket action spectacle, with Tiger Shroff stepping into the shoes of the iconic Sylvester Stallone character. Backed by Siddharth Anand and directed by Rohit Dhawan at the time, the announcement generated significant buzz, given Tiger’s reputation for high-octane action and physical performances. However, soon after the announcement, the project began facing multiple hurdles.

According to industry sources, the film ran into persistent issues related to the script and overall production feasibility. Adapting an iconic Hollywood franchise for Indian audiences reportedly proved more challenging than anticipated, both creatively and financially. With mounting concerns over scale, budget, and narrative adaptation, the project gradually lost momentum and was quietly put on hold.

In recent weeks, social media chatter and trade whispers hinted at a possible revival of Rambo, sparking curiosity among fans. However, these claims are unfounded. Sources close to the development maintain that Rambo remains shelved indefinitely, and there are currently no concrete plans to restart the project. Any talk of casting, pre-production, or timelines is premature and misleading.

For now, Tiger Shroff is focused on other commitments in his lineup, while Rambo remains one of those ambitious announcements that never materialised. Until there is an official statement from the makers, audiences are advised not to believe rumours about the film’s comeback. Tiger's recent run at the box office hasn't been encouraging so risking a big budget on such project would not make eanu sense at all. Better, Shroff waits for his upcoming films and then decides what to do with Rambo.
