Sunny Deol on Ramayana, Border 2 and Lahore 1947:

Sunny Deol probably has one of the biggest lineups for any Bollywood actor right now. He has Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan, coming this year. The film is tentatively set for release in August/September 2025, followed by Border 2 in January 2026. He then has Ramayana Part One scheduled for Diwali 2026 and Ramayana Part Two for Diwali 2027. This is one of the biggest and most promising lineups for any Bollywood actor (probably the best after Ranbir Kapoor).

Sunny Deol hasn't faced the media since Gadar 2, as he was busy shooting for his projects. Today, he finally confronted the media at the Jaat trailer launch event, and of course, he was asked about Ramayana and Border 2. Ravi Jain, a journalist from ABP Channel, asked Sunny to spill somw beans about his upcoming films, Ramayana, Border 2, and Lahore 1947, and Sunny paaji gave quite a diplomatic answer.

Sunny Deol said, "Gadar 2 has restarted everything for me. I was hoping to do big films, and it's happening now. Lahore 1947 is coming this year, and regarding the two projects (Ramayan and Border 2) you mentioned, I can't discuss them right now. But I will definitely talk about them at the right time."

Ramayana stars Sunny Deol in the role of Lord Hanuman, with Ranbir Kapoor portraying the lead character of Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Maa Sita, and Yash as Raavana. Border 2 features Sunny Deol in the lead role of an Army Officer, while Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh will be seen alongside him.
