Student Of The Year Actor CAUGHT With 3.5KG Cocaine:

A Bollywood actor, known for playing supporting roles in films such as Student of the Year, was arrested at Chennai Airport after being found with 3.5 kilograms of cocaine in his luggage. The illegal drug is estimated to be worth ₹35 crore in the international market. 

The arrest came after a joint operation by Chennai Customs and the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI). During a routine check of his checked-in luggage, officials discovered plastic pouches filled with a white powder hidden inside a false compartment in the bottom of his trolley. A drug test confirmed the substance was cocaine.

The actor was arriving from Singapore, and authorities learned that he had travelled via Cambodia earlier. He reportedly claimed that strangers in Cambodia handed him the suitcase and asked him to deliver it to a person in Chennai. Officials, however, suspect that the drugs were meant to be sent onward to major crime hubs such as Mumbai or Delhi.

Investigators are now probing the actor’s travel history and contacts to trace a possible drug network. So far, the identity of the actor has not been released publicly. This case has stirred media attention due to the actor’s link with a popular film and the high value of the seized narcotic.
