Sikandar fell on day 4, as expected, but the drop took the film into the single-digit zone, which is worrisome. The Salman Khan starrer was released on Sunday, so the fourth day, i.e., Wednesday, served as a Monday test for the film, and it has failed there. The film saw a huge drop in collections, earning only Rs. 9 crore nett on the fourth day.

The film opened with Rs. 25 crore nett on Sunday, followed by a 9% jump on Monday, which was a national holiday. After that, negative word of mouth came into play, and the film lost its ground on the third day with a 33% dip in the numbers; now, the day 4 collections have shown a 50% drop from day 3. Sikandar’s total stands at over 79 crore nett in 4 days, and it will be looking to cross the 100 crore nett mark by the end of this weekend.

From Monday onward, there won't be any hopes left, and the film will have to wrap its business sooner. Much of the same depends on Jaat, as the Sunny Deol starrer also caters to the same kind of audience due to its mass-appealing genre, but even that film hasn't been able to generate high interest among audiences as of yet. In all possibilities, the AR Murugadoss actioner will be aiming to hit the Rs. 125 crore nett mark as its highest peak, but will it reach there? We'll soon find out.
