Sikandar, released on Eid 2025, did not meet the expectations of fans and the trade. This is Salman Khan’s fifth Eid release after Sultan (2016) that did not perform well at the box office. Fans are disappointed with the choices of this film, and to make him aware of this, they are trending a tag on Twitter/X –

Dear Salman Bhai,

I've been your fan since I was five. You've been my inspiration in life; however, over the last few years, we fans have been thoroughly disappointed by your choice of films and the people you work with, as well as the effort you put in as an actor. As you once said, it's important to work in the right direction rather than just working hard; I feel you are not heading in the right direction. We have seen you deliver performances like Bajrangi and Sultan, and right after that, watching you in films like KBKJ, Radhe, and Sikandar hurts our souls. In the past few years, you've worked on the same kinds of action masala films. I would like to request you to try different genres like drama and comedy, and reserve the action genre for grand films with credible names like Vanga, Lokesh, and Prashant Neel, etc., who can justify your stardom on screen.

 

I know you’re going through a lot in your personal life, but it would make millions of your fans happy to see you in full glory if you make films that not only justify your stardom but also honor the great actor we have seen over the years.
