Shruti Haasan On Women's Menstrual Problems During Shoots:
South and Bollywood actress Shruti Haasan spoke about one of the most important issues that female actors face during film shoots. Many actresses have encountered menstrual hygiene issues during filming and often face difficulties at that time, especially with many male actors and crew members around. In a recent interview with Archana Chandhoke, the Salaar actress shared her perspective on the matter of menstrual leave for women.
The actress was asked to share her opinion on menstrual leave, and Shruti replied, "I do believe we can apply it in certain situations. It is very difficult to implement it in cinema because when you set the dates of a shooting schedule, there are many who are involved."

She added, "A single shot might involve 500 to 800 artists, and you cannot schedule it according to that. If it’s possible to implement it in other industries, great, really, really good. I have also heard that some senior actresses in Hollywood have those dates marked out so that they don’t do emotional scenes on that day. Because already in a state of volatility, you know, as women, it is not in our control. I feel that, yes, we can apply it in some professions, but it is very difficult to implement it in cinema. It is not fair to the budgeting and production as well."
