Sikandar 2-days lower than Pathaan Day 1:
Salman Khan's latest release, Sikandar, continues to disappoint. The film opened below expectations on Sunday and couldn't achieve a respectable total. Moreover, the film has been criticized by both critics and audiences, leading to a disappointing total on day two.

The film opened with ₹25 crore nett on Sunday, which was shockingly lower than Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava. Now, the film hasn't seen the expected growth on Monday, despite the national holiday of Eid. The Salman Khan-starrer earned approximately ₹27 crore nett on Eid day, which is, by far, a low total for any major film on a significant national holiday.
Sikandar Opens Lower than Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava; Salman Khan's Stardom Gone?
The two-day total for Sikandar stands at ₹52 crore nett, which closely resembles the day one figures of Ranbir Kapoor's Animal. Interestingly, this total is lower than the opening day collections of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan (₹55 crore nett), which had a non-holiday opening day. This is clearly a bad sign for Sikandar, and as things stand at the moment, nothing can save this AR Murugadoss actioner from becoming a disaster at the box office.

Sikandar will be aiming to match the final total of Salman’s previous flop on Eid, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023), which wrapped up its dismal run with ₹103 crore nett. Salman has literally repeated the performance of Eid 2023 on Eid 2025.
