Salman Khan x Atlee film shelved:
Salman Khan and Atlee were expected to collaborate on a mythological action drama, which was to be made on a huge budget of approximately Rs. 550-600 crore and was initially approved by the Tiger 3 actor. Atlee had planned it as a two-hero film and as a pan-India release, but now all the plans have fallen apart.

Atlee 6 project:
The Jawan director discussed this project with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, and one of them was to be cast alongside Salman Khan. It would have made a perfect combination of a Bollywood superstar and a South superstar, but alas, it's not happening for now.

During a recent conversation with the media, the Kick actor confirmed that Atlee’s film is not happening and has been pushed for now due to budget issues. "I don't think it's happening right now. It was happening at one point in time. We tried really hard to work it out, but somehow it didn't happen. I believe it was the budget of the film. It’s a very high-budget film. So now the film has been pushed," said Khan.
