Rohan Shankar to write dialogues for Hera Pheri 3:

Hera Pheri 3 has begun production in Mumbai. The team is shooting for the comedy flick in Aarey Colony, near Film City. According to the latest report in HT, Rohan Shankar will be writing the dialogues for Hera Pheri 3, featuring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty.

Rohan Shankar is currently working on another Priyadarshan project, also starring Akshay Kumar. Shankar is crafting the dialogues for the upcoming fantasy horror comedy, Bhooth Bangla. He has previously worked on Mimi (2021) and Luka Chuppi (2019), which has left some fans worried about the legacy of Neeraj Vora's dialogues.

Hera Pheri fans were anxious about Farhad Samji earlier and now about Shankar. The new writer definitely has the significant responsibility of upholding the legacy of Vora's iconic dialogues from Phir Hera Pheri (2006) and Hera Pheri (2000). Fans are being a bit pessimistic here because they don’t want any compromises and are hoping that Rohan will do a good job.

Neeraj Vora wrote the dialogues for Hera Pheri, which was a remake of the Malayalam film Ramji Rao Speaking (1993), and then for Phir Hera Pheri, which was adapted from Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998). Vora's one-liners have made these two comedy films cult classics, and even today, we can see numerous memes featuring those dialogues. Hopefully, Hera Pheri 3 will also have the same magic.
