The much-anticipated mythological epic Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has officially begun its promotional journey, with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granting a 'U' certificate to its title announcement video. The teaser, 2 minutes and 36 seconds long and rendered in 3D, is expected to drop soon, marking the first official look at the project. The makers had planned to unveil the video at WAVES 2025 but had to postpone due to the Pahalgam attacks. Better late than never, they say, and they are right.

Ramayana Cast: 

The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Maa Sita, and Kannada superstar Yash in the role of Raavana. Sunny Deol will be seen playing the role of lord Hanuman. With filming almost wrapped, expectations have soared for a cinematic retelling of one of India's most revered epics. Slated for release in two parts, Ramayana Part One is targeting a Diwali 2026 release. The film promises a faithful yet grand interpretation of the ancient tale, with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling and character depth. Ramayana Part Two will be released on Diwali 2027.
