Ramayana: The Introduction Launch Update
The much-awaited cinematic adaptation of the epic Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana, is all set to make its grand debut with the launch of its first official asset. Titled Ramayana: The Introduction, the first look will be unveiled on July 3, 2025, at a grand event at a leading multiplex in South Mumbai.
The launch promises to be a grand affair, with a large media presence and fanfare, although it remains uncertain whether the lead cast will attend. The first asset is expected to give audiences a glimpse into the scale, tone, and visual grandeur of director Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious mythological trilogy. As per reports, it will be the launch of the logo and while there is another teaser ready, the team wants to keep it for the some other day.
According to recent updates, Ramayana Part One has officially wrapped post-production. Meanwhile, filming for Ramayana: Part Two is currently underway. The makers are planning a staggered release strategy: Ramayana: Part One is locked for a Diwali 2025 release, with Part Two aiming for Diwali 2026.

The star-studded cast also includes Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, and Rakul Preet Singh in a pivotal role. The trilogy is being mounted on a massive budget with heavy VFX work and elaborate set design, aiming to set new benchmarks in Indian cinema.
