Raid 2 surpasses Raid's lifetime collection:
Raid 2 has been affected by the ongoing crisis between India and Pakistan and the war scenario in northern states. The sequel to Raid (2018) has now slowed down due to a shift in the audience's interest but is still performing well at the box office considering the restrictions. Raid 2 has surpassed the lifetime collection of Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'Cruz's Raid in only 9 days and is on track to enter the 100 crore nett club today.
Raid 2 First Week Collections: Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh's Film Touches 90 Crore Mark
Raid 2, starring Ajay alongside Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor, collected approximately 94.50 crore nett in the extended first week of 8 days and then saw a decent hold on the second Friday. The cinemas in India are still operating, especially in urban centers, which are far from the threats, so these collections are quite good. However, it should be noted that the numbers are lower than what the film could have achieved in a normal situation.

Raj Kuma Gupta's thriller earned approx. 4.75 crore nett on the second Friday, bringing its total to over Rs. 99 crore nett in 9 days. The predecessor had done a business of Rs. 98.05 crore nett in its lifetime run, while the sequel has taken only 9 days to surpass it. However, Raid had sold 94 lakh tickets (footfalls), which the sequel may not match.
