In a major announcement during his India visit, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer revealed that three new Bollywood films will be shot in the United Kingdom from early 2026. The production house behind this move is Yash Raj Films, which is returning to the UK after an eight-year break.

Starmer emphasized that this collaboration will bring investment, cultural exchange, and job opportunities. He said, “Bollywood is back in Britain, and it’s bringing jobs, investment and opportunity…” He added that the move demonstrates how the UK-India trade agreement can unlock growth and strengthen ties.
