Pawan Singh breaks silence on wife Jyoti Singhs allegations:

In recent days, Bhojpuri actor-politician Pawan Singh has come under sharp public scrutiny following allegations made by his wife, Jyoti Singh, who claimed in a press conference that he forced her to take abortion pills and emotionally tortured her.

During her address, Jyoti asserted, “He used to give me abortion pills,” and added that when she resisted, he tortured her to the point that she attempted to take sleeping pills: “I took 25 sleeping pills at 2 a.m.”  She also alleged that family members or associates were present during such episodes and that she had been hospitalized at Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai.

In response, Pawan Singh addressed these allegations in a media interaction and through a social media post. He declined to share detailed personal disclosures, saying, “How I behaved with her — only I, she, and God know that.”  He also accused Jyoti of making these claims for political motives, suggesting she was attempting to use public sympathy in the run-up to elections.

Pawan denied that he had called the police, asserting instead that law enforcement was already present “from the morning” to oversee any developments.  He also questioned Jyoti’s timing, remarking, “Why did you show affection only today?” and termed the controversy a “misconception” being spread in society.

The couple’s divorce proceedings have reportedly been ongoing for several years.  As of now, no independent medical or legal confirmation of the abortion or medication claims has been made public, and both parties appear entrenched in their versions of events.
