Prabhas' Fauzi To Have Two Parts:

Mythri Movie Makers’ upcoming film Fauzi, starring Prabhas and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, is set to be made as a two-part series, with the second instalment planned as a prequel. Raghavapudi confirmed the development, saying that the story has enough scope to be explored across multiple films.

Filmmaker Martin Scorsese Shares His Review of Homebound –

Fauzi has been generating attention ever since its announcement, especially as it reunites Prabhas with the Sita Raman director. The actor will be seen in the role of a soldier from the Azad Hind Force, with the film described as a fictionalised retelling inspired by events from India’s colonial past.

Mythri Movie Makers recently introduced the project with a title poster featuring Prabhas in a rugged, intense look. The production house has stated that the film will explore a large narrative world, and Raghavapudi has now clarified how the story will unfold across two films. While discussing this approach, the director said, "We're portraying one world of Prabhas in this movie, and the second installment will explore another dimension. There's abundant material from our colonial past — stories that ended tragically but could've been fairy tales in another reality. l've also woven in a few real-life experiences that inspired me personally."

Fauzi also marks Prabhas’ return to a period-drama setting after Baahubali. Raghavapudi has expressed that the film aims to present freedom fighters in a hopeful and inspiring way, noting that many stories from that era are often portrayed in a darker tone. He has emphasized the importance of highlighting their courage and spirit rather than focusing solely on tragedy.

The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, known for films such as Pushpa, Uppena, and Dear Comrade. The team is said to be planning a large-scale production with significant attention to visuals and storytelling, positioning Fauzi as one of their major upcoming releases.
