Orry Summoned in ₹252 Crore Drugs Case:

Mumbai Police has summoned social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, aka Orry, in connection with a massive ₹252-crore drug case, officials confirmed on Wednesday. The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Crime Branch has asked him to appear before its Ghatkopar unit at 10 AM for questioning. As per the latest update, he is yet to appear before officials.

The case centers on a March 2024 seizure, when police discovered 126.14 kg of mephedrone (also called MD) from an alleged manufacturing unit located on a farm in Maharashtra’s Sangli district.  Investigators say the facility was reportedly part of a larger network run by underworld-linked traffickers, involving rave parties across India and even abroad.

Orry’s name came up during the probe after Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, an accused trafficker, claimed in his remand application that he organised lavish rave parties in both Mumbai and Dubai. These parties, he said, were attended by several well-known figures — including influencers, Bollywood actors, and producers. According to the police, Shaikh named Orry among other high-profile individuals, though the ANC has noted that his statements are still being verified.

This is not Orry’s first controversy. He was previously named in an FIR by Jammu & Kashmir Police for alleged alcohol consumption in a hotel near the Vaishno Devi shrine — a place where such activities are banned. At this stage, Orry has only been summoned for questioning, and no formal charges have been filed against him publicly. The investigation remains active, and authorities are analysing his communication, financial records, and the possible connections revealed by interrogations.
