O Romeo-Tu Yaa Main Tuesday Box Office:
The box office trend remained disappointing on Tuesday for both O Romeo and Tu Yaa Main, as neither film showed any significant growth.
O Romeo, starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, collected around ₹4.75 crore on Tuesday. The film had opened with ₹7.50 crore on Friday, followed by ₹11 crore on Saturday and ₹8.25 crore on Sunday. However, the collections dropped to ₹4.25 crore on Monday. With Tuesday’s numbers, the total now stands at approximately ₹35.75 crore nett. The film had BOGO offer and Blockbuster Tuesday offer on back-to-back days, so the Wednesday drop will be bigger.

The film is expected to close its first week around the ₹41-42 crore mark. While the weekend numbers were below par, the weekday trend has not been good enough to suggest a major turnaround. The second week will decide whether the film can cross ₹70 crore or settle in the ₹60–65 crore range. Even those numbers are doubtful at the moment. Considering its reported high production and marketing costs, the verdict is unlikely to change. Even if it touches the said higher end, the film will still remain a flop at the box office.

On the other hand, Tu Yaa Main, starring Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav, has turned out to be a major disaster. The film opened with just ₹50 lakh on Friday. It saw a slight jump on Saturday with ₹1.35 crore but dropped again to ₹75 lakh on Sunday. Monday collections were around ₹40 lakh, and Tuesday remained flat in the ₹40–45 lakh range, despite offers.
The total now stands at approximately ₹3.40 crore nett. The film is heading towards a lifetime business of around ₹5 crore or slightly above. These are extremely low numbers for a theatrical release, making it one of the biggest disasters of the year with a single-digit lifetime total.
