Sohum Shah's Tumbbad 2 is steadily raising expectations as the makers rope in celebrated international talent to elevate the film’s visual scale. According to a source close to the production, Los Angeles–based concept artist and creature designer Simon Lee has joined the project along with acclaimed prosthetic designer Shaune Harrison.

Simon Lee is globally recognised for his work on major Hollywood spectacles. His impressive portfolio includes Godzilla vs. Kong, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Kong: Skull Island, Pacific Rim, Edge of Tomorrow, Star Trek Beyond, Maleficent, and the Amazon series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Known for building immersive mythological worlds and designing visually powerful creatures, Lee’s expertise aligns perfectly with the dark, folklore-driven universe of Tumbbad. His involvement signals a significant step toward expanding the sequel’s cinematic scale.

Joining him is Shaune Harrison, a veteran prosthetic designer with decades of global experience. Harrison has contributed to iconic productions such as Star Wars, The Mummy, World War Z, Avengers: Age of Ultron, the entire Harry Potter film series, and the television hit Peaky Blinders. His mastery in prosthetics and character detailing is expected to bring greater depth and realism to the film’s unique characters.
