O Romeo Monday Box Office:
Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri’s romantic thriller O Romeo witnessed a noticeable drop on its first Monday after a below par opening weekend at the box office. The film, which had a decent start on Friday with ₹7.50 crore, showed strong growth on Saturday by collecting ₹11 crore. However, Sunday saw a dip as it earned ₹8.25 crore (India vs Pakistan match).

The real test came on Monday, and as expected for a weekday, the film recorded a fall, minting ₹4.50 crore. These numbers came with buy one get one offer. Despite the drop, the movie has managed to cross the ₹30 crore mark within four days of its release. The total now stands at approximately ₹31.25 crore nett.

The weekend trend indicates that the film benefited from initial curiosity created by Arjun Ustara and Sapna Didi's families objections. However, the Sunday decline hinted at mixed word of mouth, which reflected more clearly in the Monday numbers. A near 45% drop from Sunday to Monday is on expected lines but suggests that the film will need stable weekday collections to maintain momentum.

Going forward, the film’s performance during the weekdays will be crucial. If it manages to hold steady and avoid sharp declines, it could aim for a respectable first-week total. Much will also depend on competition and audience reception in the coming days. For now, it looks like a 40 crore+ nett week one and around 60-65 crore nett lifetime bizz. It won't be enough to make the film successful, though.
