Shahid Kapoor’s latest release O Romeo continues its disappointing theatrical run, showing little momentum in its second week. After a low first week total of ₹40 crore nett, the film witnessed a sharp drop in collections, underlining weak audience traction.

In its second weekend, the romantic drama managed ₹1.75 crore on Friday, followed by ₹2.75 crore on Saturday and ₹2.75 crore on Sunday. However, the film slipped further on weekdays, collecting just ₹1.15 crore on its second Monday. With these numbers, O Romeo now stands at an estimated ₹48.40 crore nett in India.

The makers introduced Buy 1 Get 1 ticket offers to boost footfalls, which provided some temporary support. Even with these discounted schemes, the film has struggled to maintain steady occupancy, indicating limited word-of-mouth among viewers.

Given the current trend, the film is unlikely to cross the ₹60 crore mark in its lifetime run. For a film mounted on a significant budget and featuring a star like Shahid Kapoor, the performance is being viewed as underwhelming. The film has now settled into the “Flop” category based on trade benchmarks.
