While speaking to Hindustan Times, director Mohit Suri confirmed that he hasn't spoken to Shraddha Kapoor regarding any project. In fact, he stated that he hasn't spoken to Shraddha at all for a long time. “There’s no collaboration planned. It’s not happening with me for sure. I haven’t even spoken to her in a long time," he shared.

Earlier, a report from the Bollywood media portal PinkVilla shared that Mohit has discussed a new idea with Shraddha and Aditya and that they might be coming together after Aashiqui 2's blockbuster success. "Mohit Suri has discussed the basic idea with the duo and will now proceed to develop the script further. It’s in the nascent stage, and there will be clarity on the reunion by the end of this year,” a source close to the development informed the media portal. However, the report was not true.
