Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning UNDERPERFORMING in India:
After several back-to-back disasters, Paramount Pictures and Viacom18 Studios' Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning is underperforming in India. Mission Impossible 8 saw a collection of approximately Rs. 4.75 crore nett on Wednesday, bringing its five-day total to an estimated Rs. 47 crore nett since its Saturday release. The film is expected to wrap up its first week with a total of around Rs. 51-52 crore nett. The performance in the second week will be crucial if the film is to reach a final total in the ₹80–90 crore nett range, which would be lower than its predecessor, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One.
Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning sees a HUGE DROP on Monday; Final Destination Better –
While this potential lifetime figure would make it the second-highest grosser in the Mission Impossible franchise in India, it still falls short of expectations for such a major Hollywood release. Collections have notably dipped in South India, although the region did contribute significantly to the weekend numbers, thanks to strong Saturday and Sunday business.

Since the previous film in the franchise had hit the 100 crore nett mark in India, it would be disappointing if this Tom Cruise sequel fails to hit the mark. The budget for this film is higher than its predecessor, which failed to generate profits for the studio at the worldwide box office, and it seems this one is following the same trajectory. This may surprise you, but even a live-action remake, Lilo and Stitch, is projected to earn more than Mission Impossible 8 at the global box office.
