Teja Sajja’s big-budget fantasy action drama Mirai has arrived in the Hindi market, and its opening day numbers have surprised many. The film managed to collect around ₹1.75 crore nett on its first day in Hindi, making it the biggest opener among all new releases this Friday.

Heer Express, featuring Divita Juneja and Prit Kamani, also had a dull opening, with collections of about ₹40–45 lakhs. Similarly, Mannu Kya Karegga started at a modest level, recording an opening day collection of approximately ₹40 lakhs.

Among all these films, Mirai has clearly emerged as the winner. The Telugu original has already created a buzz in South India, and now its Hindi version is showing signs of good acceptance. With a mix of fantasy, action, and larger-than-life visuals, the film is appealing to a younger audience base.

Mirai is likely to see growth over the weekend if word-of-mouth remains strong. The film has the advantage of being different from the usual Bollywood releases, and this uniqueness may help it sustain in the Hindi belt.

While the other three films have opened weak and will rely heavily on positive reviews to pick up, Teja Sajja’s Mirai is currently leading the box office race. Whether it becomes a success in the Hindi markets will depend on its performance in the coming days.
