The recent allegations made by Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant Bebika Dhurve against Abhishek Malhan have sparked reactions from their former co-contestants. Actress-model Akanksha Puri has now come forward to strongly defend Abhishek while slamming Bebika for her remarks.

Earlier, Bebika had claimed in an interview that Abhishek dragged girls in the Bigg Boss house to make viral reels and even pulled her sleeves once, leaving her angry. The statement quickly made headlines and created a buzz on social media.

Reacting to it, Akanksha Puri expressed disappointment over Bebika’s allegations. She wrote on her Instagram story, “Madam, humara season bahut pehle hi khatam ho gaya hai... It’s been years... High time you come out of it!! Ab toh bas karo. It’s so sad to see someone putting such a dirty allegation on someone like Abhishek just to get a little attention and some engagement on social media.” see the screenshot below. 

She further added that she has always found Abhishek to be a respectful person, saying, “Abhishek is one of the nicest and most respectful guys I know!! More power to Abhishek. Lots of love.”

Akanksha’s statement has brought a new twist to the controversy, as she not only dismissed Bebika’s claims but also openly supported Abhishek Malhan’s character. Meanwhile, neither Abhishek Malhan nor Elvish Yadav, who was also mentioned by Bebika in her interview, has reacted to the issue yet. Fans of Bigg Boss OTT 2 are divided, with some backing Bebika for speaking out while others agree with Akanksha that old controversies should be left behind. As per Bebika, Elvish was standing there when Abhishek pulled her sleeves and did nothing but laugh.
