The weekend performance can be described as fair, with a steady trend, though films in this genre usually need stronger momentum to go much further.

The film opened on a modest note on Friday, collecting approx. Rs. 3.85 crore. There was a noticeable improvement on Saturday, with collections jumping by nearly 50% to about Rs. 5.85 crore. This rise helped the film gain some breathing space after a slow start. On Sunday, Mardaani 3 continued its upward movement and earned around Rs. 6.85 crore. While the Sunday growth was decent, such content-driven films tend to have limited scope on Sundays compared to big commercial entertainers.

In terms of regional performance, Mardaani 3 is showing better traction in metro cities. Circuits like Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata are contributing more strongly to the overall collections. Interestingly, these are the same markets where Metro… In Dino is also performing relatively better, indicating a similar urban audience preference. But this movie had an edge of action elements, which hasn't really helped, maybe because of the competition from Border 2.

Looking ahead, the film’s real test begins on Monday. The weekday drop will be crucial in deciding how much the film can sustain beyond its first week. Ideally, the collections should remain as close as possible to Friday numbers, though that is difficult. A drop in the range of 30–40% on Monday would be considered decent for the film. Let's see if the film can pass the Monday test or not.
