Maddock Films Denies Casting Rumours Aneet Padda In Shakti Shalini:
Maddock Films has finally addressed the buzz surrounding the casting of its upcoming horror-comedy universe films, Shakti Shalini and Maha Munjya. Just this morning, a media report claimed that Saiyaara actress Aneet Padda would step into the lead role of Shakti Shalini after Kiara Advani’s exit. However, the production house has now issued a clear statement dismissing such reports.

In an official note, Maddock Films said, “While we truly value the excitement around our horror-comedy universe, we want to make it absolutely clear that any reports regarding the casting of the upcoming chapters, including Shakti Shalini and Maha Munjya, are purely speculative. We urge the media to avoid misinformation and to wait for official announcements from us.”
The clarification comes at a time when speculation about casting choices was gaining momentum, with names of several actors being linked to the much-loved horror-comedy universe. Maddock Films has assured fans that while the projects are in active development, no casting decisions have been finalized yet.
The horror-comedy universe, which began with Stree (2018), has become one of the most successful franchises in recent years. With expectations high for the next chapters, fans are eagerly awaiting official updates from the banner.
For now, Maddock Films has made it clear—any news about the casting of Shakti Shalini or Maha Munjya should be treated as speculation until the studio makes an announcement. However, from trustable sources, we have learnt that Aneet is indeed part of the project; makers are just taking their time.
