Krrish 4 To Release in 2027:

Fans of Hrithik Roshan have been eagerly waiting for the next chapter in the Krrish franchise, and now there’s finally an update. Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has confirmed that Krrish 4 is aiming for a 2027 release while speaking to BollyHungama.

Speaking about the progress of the film, Roshan revealed, “The script didn’t take a lot of time. The pressure was the budgeting. Now that we have an idea of the definite budget required for this film, we’ll be starting the film.”

Known for their discipline and structured approach, the Roshans are ensuring the project is planned to perfection. Rakesh Roshan further added, “The work is going on all in full swing. We are going to start the shoot of the film by the middle of next year. This is because the pre-production is much more extensive in this film. Hence, we have to be well-prepared before we go on floors.”

When asked if the shoot would extend until the end of 2026, Roshan agreed, before confirming the release plans. “We plan to release it in 2027,” he said.

The Krrish franchise has been one of the most beloved superhero series in Indian cinema. Starting with Koi… Mil Gaya (2003), followed by Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013), each film pushed boundaries in terms of visual effects and storytelling for its time. Hrithik Roshan’s portrayal of Rohit Mehra and Krrish has become iconic, winning millions of fans over two decades.

With Krrish 4 now officially in motion, excitement is building up once again, as audiences look forward to India’s original superhero returning to the big screen in 2027. This can also mark as a grand comeback of Hrithik Roshan. This time YRF will be on board and the scale and budget will be much higher.
