Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Weekend Collection:
Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 has turned out to be a major box office disappointment, with its opening weekend collections ringing alarm bells for the makers. The film managed to collect approximately ₹7.75 crore nett in its first three days, a figure that has already pushed it into the “disaster” zone.

What makes the performance even more concerning is the comparison with its predecessor. Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015), which marked Kapil Sharma’s big-screen debut as a leading man, had collected ₹7.68 crore nett on its opening day alone—nearly the same amount that the sequel has earned over an entire weekend. This is despite the fact that the first film released at almost half the current Average Ticket Price (ATP).

Below is the day-wise breakup of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2:
Friday - ₹2 crore nett
Saturday - ₹2.75 crore nett
Sunday - ₹3 crore nett (approx.)
Total - ₹7.75 crore nett
In contrast, the original film went on to collect around ₹24 crore nett in its opening weekend, eventually emerging as a surprise success. With such a poor start, it now seems highly unlikely that the sequel will even come close to those lifetime numbers.
Starring Kapil Sharma in the lead, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 features a new ensemble cast of Manjot Singh, Warina Hussain, Tridha Choudhary, Ayesha Khan, and Parul Gulati, but has failed to recreate the novelty and buzz that worked in favour of the first part. Unless there is an unexpected turnaround, the film’s theatrical run is expected to remain extremely low.

In our review, we wrote,
"Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 tries to present a humorous take on secularism and marriage but ends up becoming a tone-deaf, shallow film that inadvertently shames feminism and glorifies absurdity. The film’s storyline is thin, but the screenplay at least maintains enough pace to keep viewers awake for its two-and-a-half-hour runtime. Unfortunately, speed is the only thing working in its favour. The writing is baffling, regressive, and shockingly careless about the dignity of its female characters. It is astonishing that this script was approved, and even more surprising that many critics have chosen not to call out its problematic lens."
