Kesari was a tale of valor, pride, and sacrifice of the Indian army, while Kesari 2 is a hard-hitting tale of a lawyer who fought against British law and order for his country. Both films are high in patriotism and nationalism, making every Indian proud of such historic stories from the past. Kesari emerged as a box office hit and received critical acclaim, and Kesari 2 is set to repeat the same success, or probably even surpass it this time.

Dharma Productions and Akshay Kumar come together for another true story from history that needs to be told and watched by every Indian. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagii, Kesari Chapter 2 stars Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday in lead roles. The film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari, co-produced by Marijke de Souza, Somen Mishra, and Vedant Baali, and is written by Karan Singh Tyagi and Amritpal Singh Bindra. It will be released in cinemas on April 18, 2025.
