Kesari Chapter 2 is rewriting history at the box office with one of the strongest holds for any non-action Bollywood film in the second weekend. The film collected over Rs. 19 crore nett in the second weekend and emerged as the biggest film over the weekend. The historical courtroom drama topped the likes of Jaat, Ground Zero, Phule, and Andaz Apna Apna (re-release).

Kesari 2 earned Rs. 4.05 crore on the second Friday, followed by a huge growth of almost 80% on Saturday. The Sunday numbers showed a superb jump yet again as the film crossed the Rs. 8.14 crore nett mark on the 10th day. No other non-action film has shown such a solid trend in the second weekend in recent times. Kesari Chapter 2 made that possible with the power of strong content.

The film will enter Monday with a Buy 1 Get 1 offer that will help it remain steady, followed by a partial holiday on Thursday, and then a traditional weekend that will add more to its numbers. In short, Kesari 2 is here to stay for a few more weeks.
