Kartik Aaryan-Varun Dhawan not collaborating:

Kartik Aaryan is currently busy with three films, while Varun Dhawan has two films coming up. According to a media report, the two were approached for the sequel of Mujhse Shaadi Karogi by the makers, but it seems that there is no truth in the report.

"The rumors of Kartik being in talks for Mujhse Shaadi Karogi 2 are untrue. The actor is currently busy filming his current project and has a few more in the pipeline that he wants to wrap up first," a source told HT, contradicting Pinkvilla and Mid-Day's reports that suggested Varun and Kartik's possible collaboration.

“Kartik is currently focused on solo-led films because he believes that’s the path best aligned with his growth and the space he’s carved for himself. It’s not about avoiding ensemble or multi-hero projects—it’s about the confidence he has in his vision. He’s among the most intelligent actors today, and his choices reflect that," added the source, clearly denying the news.

Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004) was directed by David Dhawan and starred Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. The film is based on the Hollywood film Anger Management (2003). The film was a box office hit and gained an honest following over the years. Many of them believe that the sequel shouldn't be made without Akshay and Salman because other actors can't do justice to it.
