Karate Kid Legends Flops in India:
Karate Kid Legends, starring Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio, has failed to resonate with the Indian audience. Despite the buzz surrounding the reunion of iconic characters and Bollywood star Ajay Devgn and his son lending their voices for the Hindi version, the film has had a poor run at the box office.

The opening weekend numbers were already disappointing, with the film collecting just ₹70 lakhs on Friday, ₹1.25 crore on Saturday, and ₹1.50 crore on Sunday. However, the real setback occurred on Monday when collections dropped sharply to ₹45-50 lakhs, bringing the total to a disheartening ₹3.95 crore nett.

The numbers indicate that the film is struggling to connect with viewers, and the chances of it reaching even a double-digit total of ₹10 crore seem unlikely. Despite the nostalgia factor and the popularity of Jackie Chan, the film hasn’t managed to attract audiences, possibly due to weak word-of-mouth and a lack of appeal for younger viewers.
Ajay Devgn’s dubbing may have generated some initial interest, but it wasn’t enough to save the film from failing at the box office. Unless there’s a dramatic turnaround, Karate Kid Legends appears set to conclude its Indian run on a flat note.
