Hollywood actress Blake Lively has withdrawn her claims of emotional distress against actor Justin Baldoni amid their ongoing legal battle related to the film It Ends With Us. This decision follows Baldoni's legal team's request for Lively's mental health records, which she declined to provide. Lively's attorneys stated that dropping these claims is a strategic move to focus on stronger allegations, including sexual harassment and retaliation, as their client claimed that she suffered “severe emotional distress and pain, humiliation, embarrassment, belittlement, frustration, and mental anguish."

Despite removing the emotional distress claims, Lively continues to pursue other serious allegations against Baldoni. She alleges that his behavior on set created a hostile work environment, affecting not only her but also other female colleagues. Two unnamed actresses are expected to testify in support of Lively's claims.

In response, Baldoni has denied all allegations and filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicists, accusing them of defamation and extortion. He also claims that Lively used her influence to pressure his talent agency, WME, to drop him, which the agency denies.
