Her family has requested privacy during this difficult time. No official cause of death has been shared, though it is believed to be due to age-related illness. We, at Movie Talkies, pray for her soul to find peace.
Kamini Kaushal was born as Uma Kashyap in 1927 and went on to become one of Hindi cinema’s most enduring talents. Her career began with Neecha Nagar (1946), a landmark film that won the Grand Prix at Cannes. She shot to fame with films like Do Bhai (1947), where she starred opposite Ulhas.
